I look like a big fat marshmallow! This IL-2 makes u swell like crazy. I'm still in the hospital and have 6 treatments down. I can't wait to get out of here. Still bored, feeling pretty good, just really itchy. Love u all
Josh gave me the update this am after your mom called and I feel like you're flying through this round of treatments a lot faster - prob just because the drs were still running tests when you were supposed to have started the first round. You prob aren't feeling the same way though eh?
Anyways, I wish I could help with the whole being bored thing :-( Unfortunately, the big highlight of my day is facebook (so sad). I've been racking my brain for ideas and short of um putting on a dress up show with my cat and sending you a slide show with clever captions, I've got nothing. And it would also be a really short slideshow since he only has one sweater (it's a pumpkin!) and I'm too lazy to go through all that since I take two steps and sound like i have asthma and am the size of a house.
Speaking of fat, I'm sure you are a very hot marshmallow and regardless it will all go away after the treatments. Maybe your mom will paint your nails and give you a nice pedi - that always makes me feel a lot more attractive as I'm sure nice long bubble baths aren't an option at the hospital.
Your mom did say you were thinking of dyeing your hair red which is iffy especially if Heather had anything to do with it and that prob wouldn't help with the fat marshmallow feeling.
All is fine here - there was another snow advisory last night which does not help with my opinion of Colorado in the winter time but that's ok- it's a big, big step up from DC though I am kind of wondering how the hospital here is gonna be. Josh and I go on the big tour of the maternity ward this Saturday so that should be informative ;-) I've heard good things about it but am terrified we'll show up there and it will be more like the dated and teensy WV hospital and not like the nice super modern GWU hospital in DC.
While I have you on here, my baby books are saying I need to start scouting out pediatricians.... did the kids have any dr's here that you really liked? Or ones that were god-awful that I should avoid?
That's about all for now... my arm is dead asleep bc the cat is laying on the desk with his head on my arm while I type so um I need to go regain feeling in it and have lunch which I'm trying to talk Josh into making because I'm lazy.
Oh! Something maybe you could do while all couped up when you feel decent enough, Josh wants a myspace page built for this football website of his and I'm really really crappy with myspace and think you would do a much better job :-) Call and ask him about it if you think it would be a good time-filler for you.
Amanda, Hang in there...it sounds like you're being a real trooper again. I found some funny things for you to laugh about on facebook. Prayers and thoughts are continually with you and your family!
